282 and 287 are more than numbers to us, they are a reminder of why we do what we do. 282 and 287 are the days of the year, according to the Julian calendar that the military uses, when Jason, co founder and head cider maker hit IED’s (Improvised Explosive Devices) while deployed in Afghanistan.
As a result of the injuries he sustained during those explosions, Jason received a Purple Heart and was medically retired from the US Marine Corps. The catalyst of the first chapter of Cider Corps.
